Art and Space

Art is any form of human activity that expresses a personal and disinterested vision which interprets a real or imagined concept with plastic resources, linguistic or sonorous, frequently with the purpose of recreating the sense of beauty.

Space and technology has been a source of inspiration for artistic expression. Furthermore, in future space exploration art will be both a resource and a necessity for human presence, providing space exploration with an artistic and cultural dimension as well as a psychological countermeasure against boredom in space travelers on long-duration missions.
